Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Scott has served as our lead pastor since July of 2023. He began serving in ministry in lay positions in the early 1980's, and graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1998, when he began serving in his first pastorate. Pastor Scott is also a building designer, but ministry is his passion, with a desire to see churches grow into mature, loving churches with an emphasis on evangelism, discipleship, families, and the community. Pastor Scott loves the outdoors and goes camping as often as he is able. Machelle, pastor Scott's wife is a professional educator. She has taught every grade level from first grade through college, having a bachelors degree in elementary education, her National Boards, and a Master's degree in Library and Media. According the pastor Scott, besides Jesus, Machelle is the best thing in his life. Rachel, is pastor Scott's daughter and is also a professional education, teaching Language Arts in Middle School. She brings joy to both pastor Scott and Machelle. Pastor Scott and Machelle have a dachshund (the only breed of dog pastor Scott has ever had), and Rachel has a Great Dane (an ugly dachshund - ref the old Disney movie).
